SUSTAINABILITY & COMPLIANCE

We are committed to better

You can be confident that your Onna garment has been made according to our corporate code of ethics so they’ll become a much-loved part of your own sustainability journey too.

REUSING PLASTICS

The recycled polyester in our garments comes from post-consumer materials.

We are giving plastic a new lease of life, by reprocessing it into recycled for our Onna garments. This means less extraction of raw materials and diverts plastic waste from landfill. Our postconsumer recycled plastic comes from a mix of sources including PET plastic bottles, ocean waste, packaging waste, and discarded polyester textiles.

The recycled polyester we use in our Onna garments is certified to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and/ the Recycled Claim Standard (RCS).

SOCIAL COMPLIANCE

The people who make our garments work in factories that are audited to internationally recognised ethical standards which allows us to have transparency on our supply chain and ensure our standards are met and maintained.

We believe that all our employees and those in our supply chain deserve respect and are entitled to fair and proper working conditions, with fair wages, balanced working hours, decent working conditions and no discrimination.

We assess social audit reports from our factories to determine how and where we can support our them to improve the standards in their factories.

  • We are members of Amfori BSCI.
  • Some of our factories certified to the WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production) Standard.
